The Shepards Lane Project is a 2-mile, multi-lane highway facility located in Davis County, Utah. The project is being completed as a design/build reconstruction project at a cost of $35 million. Our efforts include coordination with multiple design and construction firms as well as the Utah Department of Transportation. QES is responsible for the design of cost effective, long lasting pavement structural sections which includes the selection of materials and oversight of the mixture designs. In addition, we are developing the quality control requirements for the construction of pavement sections to assure that compliance with the design/build performance requirements is met.
