Our firm has an immediate opening for a full-time Highway Design Engineer in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. This person will perform technical assignments for highway design projects; perform related research, design and analysis on highway design projects; determine client requirements and manage project deliverables; perform some field and site visits as needed; attend conferences, client meetings and project meetings as required; assist with the preparation of proposals and project reports. Desired Qualifications: Professional Engineering license. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Must have PennDOT experience. Highway/Roadway Project Management. Proficiency in Bentley Microstation V8.
Our firm is searching for experienced construction inspection professionals with a minimum of 2 to 4 years construction inspection experience with knowledge of PennDOT documentation procedures, construction standards and specifications. Positions are for full-time seasonal schedules in Districts 1-0 (Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Warren, Venango and Forest Counties), 10-0 (Clarion, Butler, Armstrong, Jefferson and Indiana Counties), 11-0 (Lawrence, Beaver and Allegheny Counties) and 2-0 (McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Clearfield, Clarion, Centre and Juniata Counties) of the Northwestern and Central, Pennsylvania areas.
Desired Qualifications: - NICET level II or III - PennDOT Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification or Current PCPC - ACI Certification - NECEPT Certification - Prior PennDOT Construction Inspection Experience - Roadway Materials Sampling Knowledge

Our firm is searching for a Pavement Engineer for a full-time position in the Baltimore, Maryland area. This job entails supporting pavement design and rehabilitation recommendations for state highway systems. Specific job duties include reviewing design and construction documents, pavement condition surveying, FWD back calculation, data analysis and interpretation, pavement design and writing technical memorandums. The engineer will represent the Pavement Design Team and be responsible for coordinating with engineers and technical personnel from various agencies and attending team meetings for the subject projects. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree preferred) with focus on Pavements and Materials. Candidate should have good verbal and written communication skills and should be comfortable working in a team environment. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and AASHTO Pavement Design, (Darwin Design Software) is required.
Our firm is searching for a Pavement Management Systems Engineer for a full-time position in the Baltimore, Maryland area. This job entails developing decision support systems, performing data processing and data analysis, and supporting a pavement management system. Specific job duties include developing and performing database management, data collection, data processing, data retrieval and data analysis of information in the pavement management system, assisting in the preparation and presentation of technical information from the pavement management system to other agencies and the ability to make strategic decisions about the pavement management system by possessing critical knowledge about pavement data collection, performance, design, and construction. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree preferred) with a focus on Pavements. Candidate should have good verbal and written communication skills and should be comfortable working in a team environment. Candidate must have excellent computer skills.
